Haida Gwaii/Queen Charlotte Island communities were invited to participate as pilot communities in the incentive component of the provincial Community Action on Energy Efficiency (CAEE) initiative - Phase 3.

During the ESP incentive pilot that was conducted March 2006 - March 2007, community members had access to provincial grants for energy efficient retrofits to new and existing homes, mulit-unit residential buildings and renewable energy installations from October 2006.
